Has anyone experienced issues with the accuracy of Google Maps when navigating to a pinned location? We have 290 pinned cell tower sites in Maps and have navigated to them twice with little trouble.

This visit, Maps on several occasion would navigate us to the pin but during the drive it would redirect and take us to a pin that it moved miles away from the actual site. A pin would be visible on the map but there was no tower. I would then reset the navigation to the correct location and it would immediately say you have reached your destination. It could take two to three resets to get it correct.
Sometimes I would have to navigate by visually following my location dot along the roads to the site.

I attempted to fix this by restarting the phone, shutting down and restarting the app, and updatimg the app.

Any suggestions?

Since you're specifically looking at Cell Phone towers, would OpenSignal be a better judge of where they were?

I presume OpenSignal uses every bit of triangulation data they get from users like me, which is likely more accurate than anything Google/Apple could get from scraping public records and other GIS sources that aren't electronically/GPS located.
