i have onedrive, box & dropbox cloud drives.
the nice thing (before) about google drive is i can get to it on the phones just by putting in the email address when setting the phones up..no need to install other apps.

yeah my worry is that even if you change the name or edit the file extension or zip it up, etc. google is smart enough to use checksum matching from a database of ne'r do well apps or other invasive techniques to 'peek inside' what you have.

I think google, in general doesn't like storing apks no matter where they came from.
I once tried to email an apk with gmail, and google said no, so it's not just drive.

exactly the reason i threw it on the drive instead. looks like they closed that loophole now.
