Just got my first Google Home and was wondering what are some of the best things to do with it and any other cool tricks/tips. I saw you can order a Domino's pizza with it and get 20% off - anyone tried this?

Are you planning on using to control home automation functions?

I plan on getting one of the new Nest Thermostat E's. Not sure about what else. The bulbs are so expensive.

Not laughing at you. Im just making an observation and laughing at all the people who dismissed me and CAD's advice against Nest yet they wanted the "cool, Sleek" looking thermostat.

Yeah but you still will want to adjust your temperature yourself sometimes whether you are at home or not. Doing that from the app or through voice assistant is convenient. I actually like the look of the new cheaper Nest E - at $169 that's not bad for a smart thermostat.

what works better?
i have so many robots & shite setup that i would hate to try & replicate all that on ST.
not to mention repairing my zwave intermatic timer out by the pool with a new hub would be a huge PITA.

speed. and i havent had a miss on the hub thinking the light was on when it really wasnt.
And i think the wink app is rather Appleish in terms of customization.
