Galaxy S23 and calendar issues

So my wife and I have the same phone and share a calendar. When this was working OK, she would create an event.. add my email as an invite and it would show up on our calendar. However, i would never get an email notification. If I created the event and same process, she would get an email invite. Now this past week, not only do I not get the email notification... but nothing she adds shows on our calendar.

Is this a sync issue or something small that's missing? And this is all done via cell and not the laptop.
