Galaxy s10 note charging issue

My phone has recently been charging very sporadically. When I first plug it in I get the "fast charging" message. However, after a few minutes it will drop to just standard charging. If I unplug from my phone port and replug it goes back to fast charging for a bit.
I did a Google search which said the normal bad wire, background apps, old phone, bad battery, etc. I've checked the cable and see no obvious signs of damage and the brick/cable works fine on my roommates phone.
Does anyone know what could be causing this? I havent noticed a change in the battery life, just long charges. Restarting my phone doesn't seem to help either. TIA

Thanks! I'll give the compressed air a try. I just checked the port and I don't see anything but it's obviously not easy to see all the way down in there.

Is it possible to replace a bad port if that's the issue? I do have insurance so maybe they would replace it. My guess would be probably not if they say it's normal wear and tear.
Although, I think my insurance is supposed to cover anything. I've never done insurance on a phone before this one. Hopefully it ends up to be worth it.
