Glad I didn't post this question earlier this week...
So I had my first zoom meeting (microsoft teams actually) (I hate microsoft teams)) with my personal laptop since 1). Replacing the keyboard and 2). Upgrading to windows 11. Well, I couldn't get my webcam to work. No big deal but I stress about it all night trying to figure out how to fix it. My boss at work had problems with his after a W11 update so I figured that was it. I could visualize the Tech board responses in my head, "Check the drivers".
So this AM, I did a google search for my laptop model W11 and webcam drivers. Low and behold the f8 key on my laptop toggles the webcam on and off. One press and my webcam is working again. I had no idea. I don't know when it got pressed, likely during the keyboard replacement, but I'm glad that all it was.
I'm just surprised that Korkstand didn't write the web article about it.
