Looking at either the Xs or Xr. My work pays the phone bill through Verizon. If I finance one of these phones through Apple then that should not affect my Verizon bill with work, right? Upgrading from a 7. Any thoughts on Xs vs Xr? Apple upgrade thingie worth it too?

Correct. Do it through Apple.

Buying through Apple will open a loan with Citizens Bank. They will charge a credit card monthly for your payments. It will be separate from your cell phone bill. Be aware, that since youre entering into an installment loan, they’ll run a credit check.

Update: you cannot do the Apple upgrade program (citizens loan) when your bill is on a business account. The options are pay for the whole phone up front or open up the Barclays credit for 18 months interest free for the phone.
