Error Code 0x8000000a ... Can anyone help me to find the photos??? 50th wedding ann

Edit: it's an SD card issue ... we'll try to find someone who can hopefully retrieve the files.
I NEED THESE PICS.
I am the most tech challenged person I know ...
My computer is using Windows 8.1
I was trying to view the photos .. they do not even show up when I put the card back into my camera .. I've tested the card with just a random pic and it shows in the camera and on the desktop when I insert the card.
Can anyone help? I've tried google but just am too flustered.

The memory card may be corrupt. Don't try to store NEW pics on the card, you are probably overwriting what you are trying to recover and you will those files non-recoverable.
There are a few tools you can try to recover, but you may ultimately have to send it off to a professional company like Drive Savers.
What are the details of your memory card? Brand and memory capacity?
