eBay: Seller Initiated Return/Exchange Process?

Hi..not sure where to ask this, but figured it was a platform process question, so wanted to start here.
Accidentally shipped the wrong thing to an eBay buyer on FRI. Noticed over the wknd, and emailed the customer. No response yet. Packaged is due to arrive today/tomorrow. Is there a way that I as the seller can kick off the return/exchange process or do I need to buyer to do it once it arrives? eBays automated chat didn't really seem to help me figure this out, but kept saying their is no return ticket yet. Assuming I need to wait, but wondering.
I would like to send out the correct one today, but don't want to until I have it officially recorded in the system.
Also, never done this, so will eBay give me the option to buy the return label to send the buyer AND one for me to send the correct thing out or just the return order?
TIA

Kill the package delivery process. Since you're the sender, you should be able to recall the shipment.
If you don't, and the package is delivered, you are at the mercy of the recipient of the package to be a good person and submit a return

Thanks. Tried to do the USPS return process but its like 20 bucks, so not worth it.
Got ahold of the buyer, and apparently its set up for no returns so he can't set the process up. Can't figure out how to update it otherwise at this point. I'm going to get it out today, with a separate label in the package and he said he will send it back.

Would be knock against your account, but the buyer can still open a "not as described" case and it will give them an option to return

Oh ok. Thx. I'll keep that in mind next time. Just sent it out separately to try to salvage a good review. Even though I still got it out within the stated handling time and quicker than the cheapest shipping option they paid for. Only inconvenience will be dropping it off at the post office, so hopefully they won't be a prick about it in the review
BTW - how does the "not as described" deal knock your acct?
Thanks again.

Any case opened up against you will be strike against your seller rating (Above Standard, Top Rated, etc)

Got it. Thanks.
So as a follow up...I was able to buy a new Grnd Advantage label from my eBay account to ship it out, but didn't find a way to buy a return label. Which I'm assuming is the way it is. When I went to post office, I had to buy an envelope to put the return label on and put it in the other envelope. Which is what it is this time, but my proactive ops mind made me wonder...what if I need a return label, in my situation, for say a box and I couldn't fit a new box in the new packed box I'm shipping out. How would I best handle getting a label to the buyer to slap on the error shpt box? Hope that makes sense some. TIA.
