I want to give a playlist to a friend for Christmas. I have all the music already. What is the easiest and most pain-free way to get this playlist on my friend's phone without having to have them (or me) do a lot of work. I've done some research and haven't really found a solid answer. I was thinking either using dropbox or an SD card? If those are the way to go, what's the best way to get music from either to the phone so that my friend can play the music player from whatever Android app they use?

I'm not super familiar with Android, obviously. Any help would be much appreciated.

Bluetooth File Transfer app.

It's extremely easy to use. Just select the songs you want and hit transfer. The phones will need to be within range of each other, but it shouldn't take too long just being a playlist.

I use it all the time adding songs to my wife and kids' phones.

Where is the Playlist now? On a computer? On your phone?

Both phones have access to a stable, high speed wifi network?

Drop box would be pretty simple.

Micro SD card can be a pain swapping out, depending on the phone.

If Playlist is on computer, hook the phone to be sent the Playlist up with a USB cord. The computer will recognize it as an external device with storage. Just drag and drop like you would move any other file on a computer file tree.
