I’m getting a work phone soon and was looking for ways around carrying two phones. Does anyone use the dual SIM card function, making 2 numbers useable on one phone on their IPhone XS OR XR?

I've used several dual sim phones, but never one with an eSim like the iPhone.

The best features are Dual 4G and Call Forwarding, especially if you have two different services.

The thing you have to check is that both sims need to be either GSM or both CDMA. Since Sprint doesn't have eSim, you likely wouldn't be able to use this feature anyway.

From my understanding the iPhone can have both sims gsm or one gsm and one cdma if you want both plans fully active. If both lines are cdma (read Verizon) the primary line will be active, the secondary line will have some data pass through, but there may be some compromises. It’s best to speak to your carrier about the dual sims and which sim should be primary and which should be secondary.

Hopefully you catch the bat signal.

I need advise on dual SIM and how to get it going. I'm open to buying any phone and switching to whatever carrier.
