Downloading Youtube videos.. whatcha got?

I used to use Keepvid, but now their site wants me to download some software. I like just popping in a URL and getting my download file directly on a site.

yt-dlp - google search for all the details. it’s a little clunky command line use - it’s not an install it’s a binary exe file download specific for your OS. there are lots of commands you can find and instructions. basically you can download videos or just the audio from YouTube and 1000’s of other sites.

One could write a front end for it very easily, but there's so many options. Feel like it would be very pied piper in the end.
