Use a Roku stick instead of whatever you were using. I haven't had the problem you describe with Hulu Live for the ~7 years I've had it, but I rely on different Roku devices not shitty built in apps.

I have had enough of this shite with YTTV, signed up for Fubo and see the game is in 4K tonight. YTTV’s interface is better but that’s about it.
