My son (15) built 2 gaming computers. One he’s going to keep and he wants to sell the
other. Where is the best place to list for sale?

Thanks techies!

Marketplace or Craigslist. I’d stay away from OfferUp. Reddit hardware swap might work but they have so many rules it’s hard to even list anything.

eBay will get highest price but they you have to pay eBay a portion of that plus shipping fees and also you become liable for anything that happens to it. eBay doesn’t allow “as-is” except under “for parts- not working”

Craigslist is dead or full of scammers. Stay away. Facebook Marketplace is his best option.

I sold a workstation on CL several months ago and got more than expected.

OfferUp is where the meth heads hang out but also where you can get a deal. Just assume everyone needs meth money before making an offer and you’ll often score. Horrible place to sell for same reasons.
