Ok that was my concern with one screen. I need to be able to have different windows and when I maximize it doesn’t take up the whole screen. Is it fairly easy to move different windows into the segmented areas?

Windows has built in snap configurations for half screen and quarter (so two halfs, one half and two quarters, or four quarters). If you need something more boutique than that, there are tons of programs that can make that happen. It’s more of an issue is screen real estate at some point.

Going to hijack this thread and ask if anyone has ever used a larger (40”+) HDTV for a second monitor?

I have a 42" Vizio hooked up to a Microsoft wireless display adapter for a 3rd monitor. It hangs on the wall while 2 27" viewsonics are on the desk. It's nice to me to have the 3rd monitor for when someone is in my office and I don't want them behind me looking over my shoulder(pet peeve)
