Connection Issues with my Apple TV 3rd Gen

This just started about one week ago. When I try to connect to it with AirPlay it is not giving me the option for this device. Every thing else works fine on it. If I unplug the power to it and then plug it back in it is available for AirPlay. I checked the internet connection and it is still connected to my home network. Is there anything else I could do so I don’t have to reset it to make it available on my network?

Update. I restored it to original factory settings a d so far it is working like it’s supposed to. I just had to re-log in again to everything

Maybe your router is blocking it?
