On my new laptop I’m looking for a quicker way to email. When I’m on a website and I would like to email the person I click on the email and nothing happens. I have to copy and paste to my gmail any help would be appreciated!

You need an app association with the mailto: link you’re clicking on. Install outlook or the Thunderbird mail client, you can use both with evil Google.

Thunderbird and Outlook. There should be a download link for Outlook, there are web and fat client (download) versions. There is a setting in Windows to associate the Mailto: action with an app, but it would take longer to walk you through it than just downloading either of those two apps.
