An interesting move. Previously you had to turn on Developer mode and it still wasn't really full fledged Linux.
You can now get a fully functional linux device to code from for cheap. Seems like a great tool for students or fledgling programmers.
I know Lenovo recently announced they are going to make their Thinkpad line Ubuntu LTS and RedHat certified... Seems like it's starting to become more and more popular.
I recently got a ChromeOS tablet, the Lenovo Duet, and now I have a $300 tablet with Debian on it for bash scripting, and the default text editor on ChromeOS has contextual marking for at least Python. I'm learning Python do this is really intriguing to me.

I think MS also announced pretty much full fledged baked in Linux support in WSL 2 recently. Linux GUI apps will soon run on windows as well.

I've been using the Ubuntu bash in W10 feature, and I like it also.
It's a crazy time we live in.
I have a W10 license but honestly.. im considering ditching Windows for Ubuntu. About the only reasons I haven't is because I use Visio and the Linux variants of it I tried didn't really play well with .vdx files, and my wife uses my PC from time to time and I really don't want to deal with the hassle of trying to walk her through Ubuntu

I've been really pleased with Ubuntu and Kubuntu 20.04.
