Cell phone data/home internet

Does anyone use their cell phone data as their home internet connection? I have a limited amount of data but thinking about going unlimited and using that as my home connection to surf, stream and smart TV. I am with Verizon and have had great service but I am pretty sure my cell phone has STB. So I will probably need to get a new phone.
Like I said I have a limited data plan so is Verizon good for surfing, streaming and smart TV? If you have any other ideas please feel free to add...

You will need to get their home internet service separate from your mobile plan.
