I just bought a new GMC Sierra, and I want to install my old amp & sub that I kept from college, and also figure I might as well upgrade speakers while I'm at it. I have questions about wiring and I hope one of you can save me some time.

Amp: Rockford Fosgate Prime R600-5
50Wx4 @ 4ohms + 200W sub channel
Link to Manual

Sub: Pioneer Shallow 10" 200W

Speakers that I'm thinking about getting below. I tried to find some that had RMS rating slightly over the AMP's output, since I'm guessing that powering something like 80W speakers with a 50W channel is a waste. The below have 60W rating.
Focal RSE 6.5" component (Front)
Focal RSE 6.5" 2-way (Rear)

So my questions are:
1) Since I'm using my truck's factory stereo, Do I need to have some sort of converter between my stereo output and amp input signals? If so, what would I need?

2) I'm hoping that stereo output wires are all located somewhere accessible on the passenger side of truck, and I won't have to get behind dash. For outputs from amp to Speakers, can I avoid having to run wires to each speaker by splicing into the factory wiring that's already connected to the speakers?

You need a line output converter...
You should also be able to get a wiring harness to avoid cutting the stock wires.

So like this one?

6 Channel LC7i

Also, I'm not able to find wiring harness for my truck, what is the issue with cutting into stock wires?

Yes... that is a good one. I bought one for $30 that works fine though.

No problem with cutting the wires, you just have to find a wiring diagram that shows the correct wires to tie into.

If you are spending that much on a converter you can get them that have the right factory connectors so it is truly plug and play. Pac audio makes a bunch of different options.

I personally would just run proper speaker wires, the wires even on the upgraded sound systems are the cheapest they could possibly source. Car makers are still putting cardboard speakers in their vehicles... they didn't only skimp there.

So if I use the $30 2-channel ones, like this? Would I use 3 of them for each of Front, Rear, Sub signals?

I have the wiring diagram from Crutchfield. And I'm hoping that I can find all of these wires like in 2nd image below.
