I'm looking to get a decent point & shoot camera for my upcoming vacation. Looking to spend at a max of $350. I'm not an enthusiast. I'm just looking to invest into something I can take some better pictures than my phone will take. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Learn how to take pictures properly, compose your shot correctly, etc. Then use your phone.

I'm being quite serious btw. A non-phone camera usually won't make your pictures any better, particularly vacation pics. Maybe for telephotos or low light pics but that's about it.

3.) Buy the ProCamera app on iPhone. It's $10 I think.

Canon G9X and if you can afford it, step up to the G9X Mark II. I have the G9X and it shoots beautiful photos and video. Lots of creative capability built in.

Thanks for the feedback. I ended up buying a Canon PowerShot SX530 HS Digital Camera off Amazon.
