AT&T VPN Issues - Working from home

All of a sudden my wife’s IP phone from work will not connect and she cannot VPN to her work's server. Apparently this is an AT&T Uverse issue.....maybe also other IPs. I have tried resetting the modem/router and gateway. The internet connection is good but she cannot access anything work related.
Anyone else having the same issue? Have you figured out a workaround? I tried mobile hotspot but that is also AT&T so no dice.

Have to get into the modem and then off ALG. It was killing IPSec and more for me at the house until that happened.

I've seen some weird split tunnel Dns issues with AT&T. It's usually that they can't get to the internet when connected to the vpn though.
Can you ping the server by IP address when on the VPN?
