Apple watch SE2 or series 7?

If she was using a series 1 and your only reasoning for upgrading is because it was time to, the SE2 would be just fine.
That is basically what I did (Series 1 to SE) after my Series 4 died. It does everything I need it to and didnt care to have the always on feature so I went with the cheaper option.

I went from a 3 to a 7 and it’s a huge improvement. I got a refurbished from eBay for 300
