Maybe they should make a product people actually want to buy instead of using financial tricks or working with governments and telcos to limit competition.

I guess they tried that from 2007-2012 or so but option B is much more profitable.

Seriously their last “must-have” feature was waterproofing a decade ago and everyone else already had that.

The green text comment is exactly why everyone should stay away from Apple. There are a dozen free and open e2e encrypted messaging methods out there but they choose to build and maintain their own because they hate you and their entire business model is to make sure you rely on them so you can’t leave.
