Apple HomeKit Secure Video (HSV) Questions

Ok, I am looking at getting into HomeKit more and specifically the Secure Video (HSV). I currently have Google Nest and a Nest doorbell. It works ok but for personal reasons, would love to move towards HomeKit and Apple more.
I recently got the Starling hub which integrates the Google cams and products we have into the HomeKit world nicely. I can see my live video feed directly from the HomeKit app now even though it’s a Nest doorbell.
My question becomes for anyone (if there is anyone) that uses HomeKit Secure Video. Can I upgrade my iCloud storage and get HomeKit Secure Video via Starlings integration with my Nest doorbell?
ETA: Or is there a good HomeKit doorbell on the market? They’re getting more cameras but the Nest Doorbell is the GOAT at the moment.

Yea I’ve seen those and that list is kinda depressing. Would love it if the Nest Hello was able to do HomeKit Secure Video via the Starling hub. I just think that I’m a very small percentage of folks that have this setup, so folks just may not know.

To answer your question, no you won't be able to use HSV right now. And I wouldn't count on anything other than 'official approved by apple' devices being capable of HSV anytime soon, if ever. It may happen in time if someone can reverse engineer the spec, but kind of breaks the whole 'secure' part.
I'd expect more HomeKit official doorbells on the market in the next 3-6 months. Apple just announced new doorbell/camera features like the facial recognition at WWDC and they will make sure there is hardware that supports it at or soon after iOS14/tvOS14,etc launch in the Fall.

You da man. Yea I didn’t think it would but didn’t care to spend the 10$ a month to upgrade my iCloud storage only to find out it didn’t. So thanks, I owe ya 10$.
That being said, my whole argument would be moot. There’s no real point in using Google/Nest cams/doorbells only to integrate that into Apple Home/HomeKit. It still passes through google so it’s no longer secure to me.
