Anyone noticed that Comcast started Recompressing and Scaling Local HD Channels

I am in Houma and I noticed that some of my channels that were normally 1080i are now 720p on Comcast and the detail is very milky and not sharp. I can switch to the OTA broadcast and it is as sharp as a tack. The resolution on OTA shows 1080i while I switch back to cable it defaults back to 720p. I did force the box to 1080 but that did not help.

I have cable as a back up at work in Houma. Was using it out of convenience and noticed a quality change as well
