Anyone else with the Apple Upgrade Plan considering not upgrading this year?

I've got the Apple Upgrade Plan. Pay $41 a month for mine. Not really wanting the X cause I prefer the touch id and am unsure of the face scanner. Plus I'm not wanting to pay over $50 a month for the phone plus my regular ATT bill.
If I get the 8plus I can pay less than I do now ($39)monthly...but go down to 64gb (I have used over 64gb on my current phone)
Or pay more than I do now monthly($45) for 256gb(which I don't need).
Anyone else wondering if it is worth the upgrade this year if they are just gonna get the 8 plus and not the X?

Sort of...but I really have no reason to hold on to the 7+. Even though I will own it after 24 months. The resell value by the time the next phone comes out won't be worth much.
So I think I may end up getting the X even though I really don't need a new phone. 8+ doesn't seem like much of a change.

Look and see how much the 6s+ is now on ebay this may be a good indication of what your 7+ will be worth in another year.
It may be worth it to go to the 8+ just to stick to the price cycle.
