Any of You Baws (ISC)2 Certified?

I passed the SSCP exam a week ago Saturday. Print out I received said to give them a couple of business days to transmit the results to ISC2 for official confirmation. Check on the ISC2 website, they say it might take 6 weeks for certification of the results ???
Anyone have any insight on how long it actually takes?
Also of note, might be looking for some help in the endorsement process as I do not believe anyone at my current employer is a ISC2 member.

ISC has always taken a little while to get things posted/official.. It's been years but from what i remember it was pretty quick, couple weeks at most.. i did get an email from them this morning saying my cissp auto-renewed. glad i was paid up and had plenty of CPEs recorded because i had no idea it was that time.

Yeah, SSCP has a 1 year experience prerequisite that requires endorsement.
I just want to get all this taken care of before the end of the year so I can start job searching for real. I am SO done with MSP work.

gotcha...
I believe that if you dont have anyone to endorse you can prove your work experience and they will endorse for you. i could be wrong on that though..

I did CISSP, it took them all of 6 weeks to make it official.

yea i know it was that long way back when it was scan tron only. i took mine the first week the electronic version was available and I don't remember it taking 6 weeks. maybe 2-3

Guess I am happy I took the exam now instead of at the end of the year like I previously planned
