Antenna Setup Question

Moved into this house about a year ago. Wife and I have recently decided to cut the cord. Probably going with PS Vue and then an antenna for locals. I remember seeing these boxes and antennas in the attic when we moved in but didn't give it much thought until now. Anyone know what all this is? Think I can use this stuff or maybe it's outdated? Trying to figure out where all the cables lead right now.

Sorry couldn't get this one to rotate correctly. Just turn your head to the right!

Looks like you have a separate UHF and VHF antennas with the signal combined using a 2 to 1 splitter fed into the input of the Channel Master amplifier. The output from the amp is then fed into multiple splitters to the rooms. You could eliminate one the splitters on the output side if you wanted to clean up the install but if it works why bother. Should work so roll with it unless you find a problem. The old stuff may be better than the cheap Chinese made crap you buy today.

Actually, that's pretty good. Looks like you have six total lines running throughout the house. They added the power amp on the lines (which may or may not add a little noise).
You should be able to tune in all your channels from your coax jacks throughout the house.
Now, if you don't have ethernet lines run at those locations, you could run a coax to where your router is, use a combiner, and use a router that has MoCa. Then add a MoCa adapter at any of the coax outlets. This would give you wired Internet access without having to use WiFi. It would provide you better quality on a FireTV box for example.
