Android car head unit?

Radio in my car died. Looking for an aftermarket replacement. Kenwood, Pioneer, JVC etc don't have Android installed operating systems so you must use your phone to cast to them. I'd like an Android operating system head unit but they're all Chinese branded stuff and reviews are all over. Anyone have first hand experience with these systems? I want to be able to use navigation phone free as well as run the Torque app. I'll stream Pandora too and some podcasts on my drives as well.

I think with those Chinese versions, you’ll have to use your phone for internet connection at a minimum. I tried one for my son and it died within a few months. Went with Pioneer the second time around. The major players (Pioneer, Kenwood, etc), have really nice android auto head units.

Yeah definitely need the internet connection.
Do you remember which Chinese brand it was?
I read some are better than others but if they're all just cheap stuff it might not make it through the heat in Louisiana during the summer I'm thinking.

The brand was Volsmart, but it was several years ago now. I’m sure there are good brands now, just have to wade through the options.

Pioneer AVH-W4400NEX
Wireless Android auto compatible. I know pixel and Samsung from S8 up can do it wirelessly. Idk about other phones yet.
NVM. Now I see you want the OS built in for no phone all together.
