Regardless of where you stand on Google Home vs Alexa, this is essentially $100 less than Google and 20% off the Dot's normal price. You aren't going to find a more inexpensive way to dip your toe into voice activated/whole home automation.

Saw that, and then I saw google home is just $100 today. Now I'm not sure which way to go.

Just ordered the Dot through Alexa on my Echo and I get a $10 Amazon gift card. Cost me $29 for a great gift to dad.
