Amazon Echo Problem

My amazon echo that I bought about a year ago has some problems. If I leave it plugged in, after a day or two, it will stop producing sound. It will still have the light turn on when I say alexa, but it will not be able to say anything back. When i connect my spotify, it will also not produce any sound, even though it is connected. I have to unplug it then re-plug it in for it to work properly, then repeat the same thing every few days.
Sent it back to Amazon but they sent it back to me saying nothing was wrong.
Anyone had a similar problem to this or know what I can do?
Thanks

Next time this happens, try "Alexa, volume 10", to see if there's something turning its volume down or muting it after you plug it in. If so, just try to figure out if there's something new or a new command you've been using that might be ambiguously having Alexa turn her volume down. Everything else will be working right (light ring, etc.), but you won't hear a thing.
Do you have a Logitech Harmony? For a certain time after you start an activity on the Harmony, "Alexa, turn the volume down" will turn the volume on the Harmony controlled device down, but after that period of time, it reverts back to Echo's default of turning its own volume down. Maybe you're giving it a command like that through one of Alexa's skills that is a bit ambiguous.

You have a Bluetooth speaker that its connected to unknowingly?

I have the same exact problem and have to unplug it the plug back in to work. I read somewhere it could be outside interference knocking out the signal to the Echo? I have an echo dot in my bedroom that does not have any issues though.

This is a good idea to check. Next time it happens, go into the Alexa App and look at the settings for that Echo. It should say whether or not it is connected to a bluetooth speaker.
