Some data recovery companies offer a “No Data, No Charge” policy.
But ask about any diagnostic or return shipping fees if they can’t recover your data. Some provide a list or sample of recoverable data before you decide whether to continue. I’ve had hits and misses. Be prepared for disappointment.
