I bought a new macbook pro yesterday and am looking to sell the old one. It's a 2010 model, 250 GB, 13 inch, 2.4 GHz intel core 2 duo processor, with an NVIDIA GeForce 256MB graphics card. Nothing wrong with it, still runs just fine. The battery life isn't near what it once was (after charging it numerous times over 5 years), but it's still a solid machine.

I've checked on eBay and craigslist and a few other places to find a price range for it, but nothing really consistent.

Any ideas on how much it would be worth?

I sold a 2011 MBP 13" 320 HD for 350 within 6 hours on craigslist Dallas last month. Don't remember the rest of the specs or how yours compares but it was very easy. I may have gotten ripped off no idea.

Just find your model on e-bay and see what they are selling for. Seems pretty easy to me.

You got taken to the cleaners.

LINK If it's in good condition, expect to get $400+.

OP - why not add an SSD, max out the RAM, change the battery and use it for another few years?

Kinda figured that based on how quick the responses came in, but not a big deal I was just trying to get rid of it with no hassle and negotiating and what not so everyone got what we wanted out of the deal.
