It's wild how Liverpool fans shite on the FA cup on this board. People and players absolutely care about winning the competition. What Klopp is doing is pretty shitty imo.
Klopp just gets a pass.

The scousers do have a cult like mentality but that’s what makes them unique yet hated by everyone else. That’s how they like it.
Especially for their legends and Klopp is 100% a legend
It’s a group think for 90% of them in all things especially politics

It shows how out of touch some of them are
The long time Liverpool fans here don’t seem to have that mindset
Well let's be real here.
Liverpool is a new club, not many fans around till recently.
Really doesn't have a US following like some the other clubs do.
-Some guy from Alabama or some shite that follows the Bundesliga.

I just can't imagine telling someone here that the FA Cup doesn't matter
I just fail to understand the mindset about not caring about a legitimate trophy, especially with such a massive lead in the league table. I'm still salty that Chelsea whiffed on doing the double in 16/17 because they lost against Arsenal.

When I went to the final in 2016 it was amazing
Me and my boy didn’t even get tickets
There was probably 70k United fans in and around the stadium
Everyone without tickets packed all the bars and pubs and it was mayhem
Probably the best match day experience I’ve ever had, so much beer ending up in the air

Meh. I don't really care about the FA cup, but I realize I'm probably in the minority. As long as there are bigger competitions on the line, I'd prefer to focus on them. Especially when you haven't won one of them in 30 years.

I don't think EPL teams are eligible for that.
But yes, I will always care more about the competitions here than the ones in Europe.

I actually prefer being at a bar than the actual event for any sporting event.
well unless it's a client event in the box.

There are only two bigger ones
One of which you have basically already won this year
Which would let you focus on making history and winning all three in one season

Yea going out on the town for the Euros and World Cup there is awesome
We are supposed to be in Europe this summer to visit family in Germany, friends in England and then my fraternity brother is supposed to be getting married in Amsterdam this summer as well.
But we move to the east coast in May and will be buying a house so no sure that’s in the budget anymore
