I think PSG could be a sleeping giant. The only club in one of Europe's major metropolitan areas. Insane they haven't already had lots of success.

I don't want Pastore in England. I could see ManU buying him, as they can't get Sneijder. I hope Man City or Chelsea aren't getting him, as both could use him.

I'd rather Chelsea throw money at Pastore than Arturo Vidal

Same here. It's Chelsea or one of the Milans.

I agree. I remember when they had Ronaldinho in his early years. Also, there aren't even any Paris-based clubs at the Ligue 2 level. Very strange. By comparison, London has eight clubs in the top 2 divisions plus Watford and Reading nearby.

Berlin is another city whose team doesn't pull its weight in the domestic league.

SA striker Mphela supposed to arrive in Glasgow this weekend. He'll probably get a run-out v. Inter.

I've always found that a little off-putting, but Hertha Berlin could be that team.

Largest urban areas in the EU:

1 Paris France 10,485,000
7 Berlin Germany 3,450,000
8 Athens Greece 3,265,000
10 Naples Italy 3,020,000
...
49 Liverpool United Kingdom 815,000
56 Seville Spain 750,000

Edit: Athens does have several teams, I just didn't know about any other than Olympiacos b/c the Greek league sucks.

He'd be our back-up keeper, if that. Szczesny is way too talented. I haven't seen any mention of this on any Arsenal site or on twitter.
