Diego was one of the best players in the world not that long ago. I don't know what happened to him lately. I'll bet he ends back up in Brasil.

I don't see many players from Serie A, who move to other Leagues and play well. I'm not saying there aren't.., they are just few and far between.

I remember Diego's first game for Juventus, when he scored a brace, I felt sure he would thrive. But he faded fast and couldn't find his form after moving back to Bundesliga.

He was great in his first stint in Germany. He was ok with Juve. Then he seemed to not get along well last year.

I wish him all the luck that our last two Man City castoffs had.

Clichy is definitly an expendable player, he hasnt been at is best the last year-18months, and Gibbs is easily an adequate replacement, with potential to be a true upgrade

I wouldn't call Gibbs adequate. He's got potential but he's not physical enough. Not excellent in the air and can can be caught out of position sometimes. Honestly I hope we buy someone to replace him and not have to rely on Gibbs as a starter. Im relieved to see Clichy go an hope he brings his same form to City. On a personal level he seemed like a nice guy so I wish him the best in thy regard.

I'm really hoping he can develop as he is a good young prospect for England.

That's still possible, but he's still too green to be slotted into a top 4 side. He could be really good with another season or two under his belt. But what I saw of him this last season didnt inspire confidence

I'm actually playing with Atletico. I managed to keep Forlan, Aguero, De Gea, and bought Jesus Navas
