I agree that Torres is certainly salvageable. Kaka less so.
Saw more rumors today that there's going to be a lot of changes at Arsenal this summer. If I had to guess who was going out it'd be Rosicky, Denilson, Bendtner, Arshavin, Almunia and maybe a couple of reserves players. Hull cut ties with one of their GKs and are apparently interested in a permanent deal for Mannone. I'd rather not lose him (he's better than Fabianski) but he deserves regular PT.
Also, Samba came out this week and said Arsenal were close to signing him in January. Could be just talk from him, but I guess that's a name to keep an eye on this summer.

I need some clarification. Isn't Ibra on loan to AC Milan from Barca? His agent says there is no chance he will go to City. I think that if he is on loan Barca would take the highest offer. Am I correct on this situation?

ibra is one of those guys with insane talent and he will never live up to it in games (esp big ones)
What are you talking about?
He had 21 goals and 9 assists last year (20009/10), 29 goals and 9 assists the year before that (2008/09), 22 goals and 9 assists the year before THAT (2007/08), and has 21 goals and 11 assists this year (2010/11).
So what reason do you have to believe he will be another Adebayor at City?

He signed a one year loan with AC Milan, and AC Milan has the option to sign him for 24M Euros. I believe.

His agent's commission when City offers 40mm will change his mind in a heartbeat. City is going to spend 150mm-200mm this summer.

His transfer status is still up in the air. Barca have been trying to return him to Inter, but they lost their receipt.

So absurd.
Does anyone know how much their current team is worth?

No one can outbid City. Poor Ibra. From Milan to Barca to Milan to a shithole of of a city. Good luck you crazy Swedish frick.

I think rumors of that are over blown. Just because 'arry says it doesn't make it true. They might reach 100 mil, but no way they net a -200mil in the transfer market this summer.

This isn't the ot, SFP can't slip in his mislead uninformed opinions on the soccer board without getting called out on it.
Ibra is twice the player Adebayor is ,and to me, it's not even close. Ibra is an absolute freak

I absolutely agree.

Torino and Amsterdam>>>>> than Manchester. But, he will get paid and so will his agent. City laughs at a 24mm option. No chance AC could compete.

My question is, do AC Milan get first dibs?
Posted on 5/11/11 at 7:16 pm to LSUSOBEAST1
I don't think so. Pretty sure it's Barcas call

zlatan would have to agree terms with city. though, i don't think city would have to try too hard to come up with agreeable terms:
"i'll have what wayne bridge is having, please."
if there is an option to buy, barcelona will have their hands tied e.g. yoann gourcuff --> bourdeaux
