Ok folks, I never, ever, never come to this board. But I need some help. I've fumbled my way around for the last 2 years refereeing soccer. I barely know what I'm doing. I only get by because they are like 7 years old. I need to find some type of referee camp where I can go learn the rules and stuff because I think I may have to do some 12-16 year olds. TIA

I would contact the league you are going to be a ref for. They can probably get you in touch with the referee association that they use. You will most likely have to take a class and pass a test to get certified to ref.

It's a local parks and rec league. We have no referee association. Hence why my ill informed arse is officiating.

Where do you live, generally?

Oh, I got started in a local parks and rec league, but we still had an association and had to get certified.
