The scoring is identical to the EPL site for the convienence of keeping track of points.
Bonus points are awarded to three players on each side. Top player gets 3, next best gets 2, and third best gets 1. I am not sure how who determines the players.
Also, the captain's score is doubled.

Wait, they count both sets of points? I thought it was whichever game was better. (note: I didn't read the rules thoroughly.

That was the rule, but that went away when we switched to EPL site scoring (that's what they do).

Yes.
Also if a zeppelin crashes, catches fire and burns the Reading stadium to the ground, you'll be granted an additional 20 points.
Currently, the odds are better on the zeppelin.

Just a heads-up to everyone in the league, bonus points are sometimes added hours or even a day or so later by the EPL site. Make sure to re-calculate your points at the end of the week.

Yeah, he will see it. Also, the weeks are the same as the EPL weeks, so definitely play guys that get two matches and bench guys that do not play.
However, the vast majority of weeks seem to be 10 games with everyone playing once.
