The host team's run ends here, sadly. Thenry was too much for me. After equalizing early (Robben cut in with left foot rocket), Thenry starting getting counterattack after counterattack following Robben misses. Kinda predictable (and yes, I'm still mad). At the half, RvP decides he's tired of waiting for him to get the ball passed to him, joins Thenry's squad, scores a second half brace, and leaves me in the dust. 3-1 Thenry.

Gmorgan4982 11 vs. S 5
G-Mo is heading to the semifinals with his big win over S, 3-1. Fredy Montero hat trick (of course) came after a numbering dispute on the field. Seems like G-Mo was getting one more number out on the field than he should have. That penalty led to a Leeds PK, but that would be it for S's bunch. With the loss, Leeds is banished to League One for a minimum of five years.

There's a reason why he's the favorite, ladies and gentlemen. Glass has been ripping apart his opponents since Day 1, and continues with a 4-0 beatdown of a strong Stewie G side. Will the King of Finn's make it all...the...way?

Brave makes it into the semifinals...via penalty kick victory! Oh yes, the first match in this year's competition that had to come down to the lottery was marked by a Steven Gerrard brace in the late stages...equalizing and bringing the match into extra time! After 30 minutes that featured nothing but the two teams laying down on the field for pure rest, it came down to the penalty kick shootout. Both sides knocked in the first two, and then Brave cashed in on #3 as Pepe Reiner dove head first into the post, knocking him out. Luis Suarez would then completely miss the goal on his try. Clint Dempsey finished off BPG with an open-net penalty conversion...FULHAM'S GOING TO THE SEMIFINALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
