Roster for gold cup?

Why is the roster so much different for the gold cup? I enjoyed watching the roster of players that were in the WC qualifiers. Is it because the level of competition is weaker ? will they change it back in sept when we play Mexico?

I really don't know. Maybe resting players between qualifying games?

To allow European based players to vacation/train with their club teams. Otherwise, they get no break from summer 2012 through the World Cup next year. Not wise.
First choice team will be back in September.

2013 winner plays 2015 winner for spot in the 2017 Confed cup. I think that's right.
