Yep.
Totally agree we miss Keane BADLY and I think trading away Magee was a really bad move.
Still love my boys, but I'm not seeing a threepeat this season.
Of course, I never would have thought they would have repeated last season after their abysmal start.
No Becks, no Keane, no Magee, and a 50% Donovan =/= championship Galaxy team.
Oh well. Still beat the Germans!

Galaxy got their
lubeless.
After watching that game (My 1st MLS game) I completely understand why MLS wants clubs to have their own stadiums. New England could have put 30k in the arena and still looked like nobody showed up, and that's not fair to the players or fans and honestly it just looks bad. Glad to hear they're getting their own venue.

quote:
Bilello said the club's focus on an urban location – Revolution officials have engaged in talks with the cities of Revere and Somerville during the past year or so – and the corresponding hurdles created by building in congested areas have resulted in a protracted hunt for the right public-private partnership.
“We're extremely committed to it, but – what I've always said and will continue to say – we've chosen and will continue to stay on the tougher path,” Bilello said. “We think having it in a greater Boston, urban location on the T [subway system] is critical to the organization. That is more expensive. It takes longer. It is more difficult. But it is – we feel – the only way to get this club where it needs to be.”

Just saw highlights of the Ireland vs Georgia game, looked like a pretty weak crowd there.
