The French World Cup winner had apparently planned on returning to his homeland after helping the Blues secure a decisive 4-1 victory over Cardiff City earlier in the day.
But, after missing his Eurostar train, he headed over to a local mosque where some fans invited him over for a night of curry and video games.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Kante, widely regarded as one of the nicest and most humble men in football, accepted their invitation.
