LINK

Not sure if that's already been posted or not, but that link is an excellent resource.

Above all, have fun with them. They are 4 year olds. Silly games with heavy emphasis on the individual. In lieu of stretching and traditional warm up exercises play Simon says... Things in that vein and then dribbling dribbling dribbling.

Think of this as a way to have fun and be silly with your kid and another 5 or so while introducing them to soccer. The kids will actually enjoy it and you will too.

The kids actually enjoying the practice experience is what separates us from these American football savages.

Fun is what you want. Paint your hair pink one practice, blue the next. Talk to kids at the bleachers, then run 15 yards away, they follow, and you give more instruction. Run again.

Tag: make a circle with cones, every player with a ball. the 2-3 coaches run around in circle and the kids try to tag you.

Dribble/Stop: kids dribble for 5-8 seconds. You yell "right arm" and the kids put the right arm on the ball. Last kid to do so is out. "left foot" "right elbow" "head"

Chain tag. the coaches hold hands and catch the players to increase size of chain. No ball involved - good warm up.

Circle tag. Coaches on the outside, kids in the circle. Coaches roll ball to each other and kids avoid the ball. a kid who is hit joins coaches on outside rolling the ball.

Set up 3 pointed cones and have players dribble 8-10 and knock them over. Then divide into teams and knock them over to win the cones. Put cones together and then scatter.

If the kids don't want to leave practice, you've done a great job.

Do a lot of Sharks & Minos, Red light Green light w/ each player with a ball.

Solid, however, I would jump right to slide tackles, shirt pulling and how to throw elbows without being seen.
