Chelsea won the champions league this year by sitting back and defending the entire time after getting lucky with one early goal.
Basically two full matches of one team trying to pass the ball through 11men in a small box. Sucks as a fan.
RSL are trying to keep it zero zero instead of going for a goal because of the slight advantage they'll have trying to do it at home next week, it's pretty silly to me. Soccer doesn't have that much of a home field advantage IMO

RSL plays possession football. Rimando played out of his mind tonight...I have no real issue with how they played on the road.
Seattle gets a slight advantage heading to the RioT. Gonna be fun.

Huh? No away goals in the MLS.

It definitely does, depending who you are and who you're playing

Whoops, never mind. My head was in CL mode. Still somewhat new to MLS (second postseason).

1) Chelsea, stoke, real salt lake, the entire serie A besides AS Roma (Sunderland I think? I don't watch much of them though)
2) football/soccer..
Eta : note, Chelsea don't play that way in the league really since they have such a colossal talent gap over most of the league, also Liverpool could be in list two

I added tomorrow's game for this thread, since nobody will be watching

I'm actually kidding about the Italian and Dutch leagues there, just repeating their stereotypes

You could generalize it a bit and say that most inferior clubs play a counter-attacking style against the bigger, better clubs. Stoke City have mastered it, partly because they've built a squad to survive against the bigger clubs in England. It allows them to stay mid-table.

I was disappointed in the Sounders fans booing Rimando when he was hurt.
I expect better from "MLS' best fan base."
It's not an Eagles game, jackasses.

I think a lot of that was because espindola had been diving a bit already + RSL were in full on time wasting mode, so they assumed he was doing the same. And they don't quite have the same view we do of the blood

Anyone know of a good stream for this one? My plan is go have the LSU game on the tv, and this match streaming on laptop.
