Home stretch time in Europe as Matchday 10 begins with Part 1 of 3. Germany and England are already in, but there's still first to play for in Group E. Plenty of second place battles as well, including Scotland trying to complete the miraculous comeback to get in the playoffs.

All Times CDT

UEFA - Matchday 10 of 10
Group C
Czech Republic - San Marino, 1:45 p.m. (FS+)
Germany - Azerbaijan, 1:45 p.m. (FS2)
Norway - Northern Ireland, 1:45 p.m. (ESPN)

Germany have qualified for the World Cup with nine wins from nine. They'll comfortably complete a perfect record today. Northern Ireland have also clinched second place, but they're not yet assured of a playoff berth. If they win today, playoffs will be secured. A draw likely does the trick. Still a lot of permutations in that table to play out over the next few days.

Group E
Denmark - Romania, 11 a.m. (ESPN3)
Kazakhstan - Armenia, 11 a.m. (ESPN3)
Poland - Montenegro, 11 a.m. (ESPN3)

Poland need just a point from their home match against Montenegro to qualify for the World Cup. If they lose, Denmark could pip them with victory against Romania. Denmark and Montenegro will be battling for second as well.

Group F
Lithuania - England, 11 a.m. (FS1)
Slovakia - Malta, 11 a.m. (FS+)
Slovenia - Scotland, 11 a.m. (FS2)

England are in the finals from Group F, and it's down to the race for second between Scotland and Slovakia. Given that Slovakia will likely win against Malta, Scotland need to win in Slovenia to finish second. That would give them 14 points in the group (excluding games against Malta) and that should be enough to get in the playoffs.

CAF - Matchday 5 of 6
Group E
Egypt - Congo, noon

It's quite simple for Egypt: a win today against Congo books them passage to the finals for the first time since 1990. That means the USA couldn't play Ghana!!!

Probably flipping between Slovenia-Scotland and Poland-Montenegro. I don't think Lithuania is worth watching.
