Good player. He was priceless the first dozen or so matches of the season. As the rest of the squad grew into the system, his form began to worsen.

He's good tactically and very calm on the ball. Obviously a great passer, but he is at a disadvantage compared to most of our other midfielders who are more physically gifted. Pretty excited to see the role he plays this season.

I don't think he's irreplaceable though

We'll probably never know how much his shoulder injury had to do with his dip in form, but obviously it played some role...

He's no one that I ever get nervous about on the pitch, but so far, I never feel like he will be a difference maker (goal, key pass)

No. Arsenal have not offered 42m for Luis Suarez.

My main two issues with him as a player and why I'd rather have someone like CE that plays just like JA but has that "IT" factor IMO.

I love that pic of BR, sums up my feelings on Suarez completely.

Yeah... seems there a reports that Suarez's camp views that clause as a "release" clause and LFC are holding to their thoughts that they are simply obligated to report their interest...

Could get ugly...

I got to think, since our legal team probably drew up the contract, they worded it specifically to our intent. If not, I hope RM comes in with that Higuain money...

I'm not sure what that bbc reporter means when he says no rush to decide... thats BS IMO..

Did he mean this season? I could see how he meant that

that's how i read it but a clarification would probably be good.

seems like it'd make sense to me (from Liverpool's perspective) to give him a raise/new contract, set a firm buyout if no CL next year (that is high) and sell him next summer.

if by next year he meant the upcoming season, then i don't see the abundance of options. i don't necessarily see the abundance next year either, but things change. out of even fringe CL contenders, only Dortmund might join in the interested parties group next year and Arsenal may well drop out.

This summer he realistically only has two options unless Chelsea come out of nowhere with an offer.

Next season, pending good behavior, I could see the flowing clubs pursuing him under certain circumstances:

Madrid
Arsenal
Chelsea
City
Bayern
Dortmund
PSG
Monaco
Juventus

I just cant see Dortmund... They cant offer the wages that the other clubs do, to my understanding... I see them buying young(ish), up and coming players..

Also, unless something was worked out behind the scenes, wont they lose Lewandowski for nothing? He is in the last year of his contract..

I guess I'm activating my LFCTV tonight.
