All in all Real isn't that bad, I liked them a lot when they had Sneijder and Robben and would like them a lot still if they didn't have Ronaldo.

I'll give you Drogba but Terry is steady as a rock on the field and the hate for him is undeserved. Ballack isn't really a douche he's just kind of annoying. Luckily he won't be at Chelsea next year.

Undeserved? He's an adulterer who didn't even apologize to Bridge for boinking his girl. People have the right to dislike Tiger Woods for his infidelity, but not John Terry?

Adulterer I'll give you, but so are 90% of other professional athletes. Also, it wasn't Bridge's girl. You can dislike him sure, but there is a difference between dislike and flat out hatred and repeated wishing for serious injury and death by gardening accident.

i actually had a strong dislike for terry before the whole bridge thing. do you think this is the 1st time he cheated on his wife. and it's not even that. i just have this distaste for him. lampsy too, though i can't explain that one.
i know cris is a diving whiner, but he's actually not as bad of a person as people make him out to be.

I dislike a lot of athletes for no good reason other than they don't play for my team. That's part of being a fan. No, it's probably not the first time he's cheated but like I said if that's your reason you wouldn't like hardly any pro athletes.

it's not even that he doesn't play for my team. there's just this ick factor about him that i can't figure out. maybe it's the tranny thing

I don't care what you say... Messi>Ronaldo

Posted on 5/13/10 at 10:15 am to tigerking765
i like them both, but i like messi less b/c he plays for the wrong team

I'm hoping he can overcome Diego Maradona as his coach and have a good world cup. Not saying I want Argentina to win it, but I'd like to see him score a few goals to get that international "monkey" off his back.
Posted on 5/13/10 at 10:21 am to tigerking765
He has trouble scoring for Argentina because Diego doesn't know how to use him effectively. Messi is great playing deeper towards the mids and having space to take players on and beat them with his speed.

It baffles me how maradona cannot watch how Guardiola utilizes him for Barca, and then just mirror that for Argentina.
Posted on 5/13/10 at 10:26 am to tigerking765
Argentina's problems are in the midfield and at the back, as the team has no spine. Argentina's main problem has been balancing defense and attack, and it will take a real manager to fix it, not Maradona.

You're also omitting Terry's pissing on the dance floor and his tour of the grounds fiasco
Posted on 5/13/10 at 10:30 am to tigerking765
i would love for him to have a great world cup. i'm hoping they go far (just not past spain)

I also read that on Sept. 11 while Americans in London were mourning, he got drunk and proceded to pick a fight with said Americans in a bar.

he was a total douche. i believe lampsey was with him. they were being complete assholes and making jokes about it. frick him and frick england

yeah, you're right

maybe that's why i hate him. i must have buried that information. it explains the extreme hatred of those two
Posted on 5/13/10 at 10:41 am to mrsmiller
yeah, after that i had a hard time liking either one of those two. Though I did give Terry a chance in the Champions League 2008 final.
