It's that kind of "us against the world/everyone is out to get us" attitude that rubs people the wrong way.

I don't side with Suarez (on this issue) because he had a chance to put this bullshite behind everyone, he said he would do so, then he didn't which just incited the whole thing back to where it had been when it first occurred. The decision was bigger than just his family's honor or whatever it is you've been saying the past day. He knew that coming into the game. Hence, the quick apology today.

I've never seen a kind word said on this board towards Evra. Don't make this a Liverpool victim thing. Most people on here are equal opportunity criticizers.

Sure, there are some on here who will irrationally keep hounding Suarez. They look silly. Just realize that you come off the same way when you're defending his honor the way you do.

LOL if you think that was Suarez's doing.

Clearly, or I least I thought, it was implied there that Suarez was forced to apology. But I'm glad I gave you an opportunity to keep on trollin'.

I don't think its his job to put this to rest. That's where we differ. The man is entitled to be pissed. Its the media that embellish it to extremes it shouldn't be brought that keep it from ever ending.

To me its not even about who's duty it was. This was over regardless of the handshake. Two men can dislike each other. There's no crime in that.

Can't you see that it was only bigger than that because the media turns this into a circus if he doesn't? Not because there is some inherent right of Evra's to receive Suarez's hand. This is what makes Liverpool fans so angry. It's a handshake and nothing more. There is no all important and underlying universal justice here. It's not a big deal and it's being made into one.

Oh come on man. All I've heard is what a villain Suarez is for not shaking a hand. Nothing about Evra what so ever. Nothing about how embellishing a handshake into what it has become is unnecessary and ridiculous. And you wonder why Liverpool fans think its us against the world? Try stepping in our shoes for a second.

I'm simply angry that something every person on this board would do is being turned into an act that is completely uncalled for. A week ago many of us said it would be fine to take a player out on the field. All of a sudden skipping a handshake is so much worse? Please.

It's only this board that seems so upset (as you noticed with the fans at Finn's). The majority of EPL fans that I know IRL see nothing wrong with the snubbed handshake. Along with several other forums I read (not limited to Liverpool). It's mostly the English tabloids and the fans who didn't like Suarez before who are up in arms.

ETA They all think it would have been smarter to shake hands, as we all agree.

HEY WHAT ABOUT WHEN THE PLAYERS KICKED THE BALL WELL/POORLY DURING THE 90 MINUTES OF ACTUAL SPORT. SHOULD WE DISCUSS THAT? NO? OK THEN

Liverpool's performance was fricking disgraceful outside of the last five minutes and it's been COMPLETELY swept under the rug.

That was the 2nd worst performance (behind Bolton a few weeks ago) of this season and maybe a long while. It was absolute shite. Downing was so bad I started to legitimately think that he was trying to throw the game.

Love Dirk for what he is, but that's enough. Super sub or cup player? Fine. But his severe lack of quality is killing what is already an impotent attacking team.

Why the frick did we not stick with the Adam- Spearing- Gerrard mid that had been working well? I hate Adam as you all know, but every single time Gerrard looks like shite, happens when he's playing deep. Let Adam sit back there and hope he doesn't frick things up too horribly.

This team really looks like a 7th place side so I guess this is all fair.

If someone would watch Bundesliga, we could talk about games or at the very least how handsome Schweinsteiger is

I honestly want to but just haven't started outside of the odd game here and there. Now I've moved and I don't have goltv right now, but I'll be making an effort in the future.

Seems like the least amount of shithead drama with a really good on field product.

espn3 is your only chance to watch it. Which sucks, I hate the goltv quality that I get.

The title race is worth keeping an eye on.

He was miserably sub par. I can't remember the last time I've seen a player that inconsistent. How he can play like he has the last 3 weeks then take the massive shite he did alludes me.

I was screaming the same thing all game. God Spearing was bad though. He single handedly lost us possession more times than I could count.

Beggars can't be choosers I guess.

I've been seriously considering it recently. Even if it means I have to glue myself to the computer instead of the TV.

There's usually at least one match every Friday and/or Saturday on GolTV.

There's a game on Saturday at 9 but they don't list who's playing. ESPN3 also has a couple of games listed but they don't say which teams.

I wish ESPN or Fox Soccer would pick up Bundesliga games. Dortmund and Gladbach are so much fun to watch. Bayern can be really fun to watch when they're not passing the ball to Ribery and Robben and standing around.

Schweini is out for a month or so :/

Yeah I don't have GolTV. Dish doesn't carry it right now because of a contract dispute.

God I know. I really don't like Serie A much and I feel like Americans could relate way more to German football than Italian. It baffles me why they don't show it, especially now that FSC is starting to show French games every now and then. It must be a tv rights thing.

I know German television is different than American. I don't remember exactly how but I don't think many of the games over there are on non-subscription channels so most people watch in bars.
